These terms are a scaffold for a B2B/B2C SaaS. Applicable law, jurisdiction, liability caps and specific clauses (alpha, SLA, DPA) must be drafted or completed by counsel.

1. Purpose

These terms of service (“ToS”) govern access to and use of the online Siftbox service published by Webdigit srl.

2. Acceptance

Creating an account or using the service constitutes acceptance of the ToS and, where applicable, the privacy policy. If you do not accept these documents, you must not use the service.

3. Service summary

Siftbox provides organisation and email prioritisation features (including optional synchronisation with mail providers and automated classification). Detailed description and scope limits are in the product documentation and interface.

4. User account

  • You undertake to provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
  • Activity under your account is presumed to be yours unless you promptly report fraudulent use.
  • The publisher may suspend or close an account for ToS breach, security incident or non-payment (if a paid plan applies).

5. Gmail and other providers

When you connect Gmail or IMAP, you authorise Siftbox to access data strictly necessary for enabled features, consistent with product settings and third-party policies. You may revoke access from product settings and/or your Google account.

6. Prohibited use

  • Violate the law or third-party rights.
  • Attempt to access systems or data without authorisation, overload infrastructure or bypass security.
  • Use the service to send spam, unlawful content or malware.
  • Resell or rent access without written agreement.

7. Intellectual property

The service, its code, brands and editorial content remain the property of the publisher or its licensors. You retain your own data; the publisher receives a limited licence to host and process it for the service.

8. Availability and changes

The service may be updated, changed or interrupted for maintenance. Unless otherwise agreed (SLA), no minimum uptime is guaranteed; reasonable communication for major incidents is recommended.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher’s liability for indirect damage or data loss is limited or excluded as national law allows — **to be drafted with counsel** (caps, force majeure, user message content).

10. Termination

You may delete your account per available features. The publisher may terminate access with reasonable notice except for serious misconduct. Data will be deleted or anonymised per the privacy policy and legal obligations.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These ToS are governed by Belgian law. Failing amicable resolution, courts of the judicial district of the publisher’s registered office (Belgium) have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in the EU or elsewhere. Wording to be validated by counsel.
